wound care consultation

In addition to my independent consulting services at TrueRx Consulting, I also work as a Patient Care Coordinator for a Wound Care Company. In this role, I help patients receive timely, effective wound care by:

Connecting them with the right wound care clinic or specialist

Explaining treatment plans and how to use prescribed wound care products.

Coordinating follow-up appointments and ongoing care

Helping with paperwork, insurance information, and scheduling barriers

Communicating with providers to ensure care stays on track

My goal is to make the wound care process as smooth and stress-free as possible — so patients can focus on healing.

Note: Wound care coordination is separate from my private consulting services. All medical decisions remain with your licensed healthcare provider.

Who Benefits from Wound Care Coordination

Wound care coordination is especially valuable for patients who:

  • Have chronic, slow-healing wounds
Such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, or pressure injuries.

  • Recently had surgery or an injury
Surgical incisions, traumatic wounds, or skin graft sites that require special care.

  • Struggle with wound care at home
Difficulty changing dressings, understanding treatment plans, or managing supplies.

  • Need advanced wound products or therapies
Such as skin substitutes, compression wraps, or negative pressure wound therapy.

  • Have multiple health conditions
Diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, or immune system issues that affect healing.

  • Experience frequent infections or complications
Require closer monitoring and faster communication with providers.

  • Face barriers to care
Transportation issues, scheduling challenges, or trouble getting insurance approval for needed products.
